Cycling for a better community.
Cycle Bucks County, now in its fourth year, is a one-day charity bicycle tour for riders of all skill levels. Renowned for its beauty and ideal riding conditions, Bucks County provides the perfect backdrop for this early summer cycling tour that attracts hundreds of riders.
This year’s event will be held on Saturday, June 21, 2014 on the campus of the New Hope-Solebury High School, located at 180 West Bridge Street in New Hope, PA. There will be four rides: 10 miles for kids and families, 25 miles for cycling enthusiasts and then 50 and 60 mile rides for serious cyclists through the scenic roads of Bucks County. Rest stops and SAG support are provided on all routes.
This will be a fun day for the entire family and includes:
• An Antique Bicycle Show.
• Kid’s activities include arts and crafts and face-painting.
• Free t-shirt to all pre-registered riders.
• Continental breakfast and light lunch.
• A raffle with many great prizes including the chance to win a new Fuji bicycle.
This year we have chosen The Heart Institute of Doylestown Hospital as the beneficiary of the 2014 ride, to honor the memory of Tara L. Riedley, who passed away suddenly and tragically from an undiagnosed heart condition in 2008. The Cycle Bucks County ride is organized by the Tara L. Riedley Foundation in association with the New Hope-Solebury Community Association.
